The Last Supper was on a WEDNESDAY (I'm sure that was an oversight). Later that night and through all of Thursday, He was arrested, tried (by both Herod and Pilate), tortured, and finally crucified on Friday. Roughly speaking, if you want to figure out when Orthodox Easter is any year, here's the simple formula: All we know is that Christ ressurected on the first Sunday after the end of Passover -- period. So Orthodox Easter falls on the first Sunday after the end of Passover. Simple. Forget all that nonsense about equinoxes and moons. Jews have been celebrating Passover for thousands of years; just follow their calendar. There ya go... :)

Christians decided to independently define and calculate Easter. Since The Last Supper was on a Thursday, the day before the Crucifixion, followed by Easter that Sunday, it was decided that Easter would be the first Sunday after the first Full Moon on or after the Vernal Equinox. Since Passover was the first day after the Full Moon, this preserved that feature of the Jewish Calendar. The Full Moon was similarly defined as the 14th day of the month, or, in more modern parlance, the day on which the "age" of the moon (which starts at zero at the New Moon) is 13 days. This 13 day old moon must then occur on or later than the Vernal Equinox, which was defined at the Council of Nicaea in 325 as March 21st. Truthfully since the Christians decided when they would celebrate Easter, then why can't WE decided as Christians united to pick a date, Like Last Friday of March to celebrate Good Friday, and we all be on the same date. It still has a float date , but simple . United WE stand /Divided we Fall! Maybe we can honor others who came before us and have a Miracle in our time as well, refer to following: It was on this day, the 25th of March, in the year 1821 that the Greek People, after suffering nearly 400 years of tyrannical occupation, stood up – a David against a Goliath, and declared their independence. They fought with astonishing bravery and against all odds, and established the free, modern Greek Nation among the Nations of the Earth, bringing democracy once again to its very birthplace of democracy. we offer tribute to the heroes who, with the help of God, produced the miracle of the March 25, 1821, we honor them in this unique place(America), which constitutes a pre-eminent symbol of freedom and peace, justice and democracy, life and abundance of life, to use the words of Jesus from the Gospel of John.

I found a bug in the easter calculator. Try this pattern 2009 calculate 2013 calculate 2014 calculate 2013 calculate 2013 will give you two different easter dates. This is because your java script d(), the golden number can be 0 which is not accounted for in outputing the answer. Anyway I would suspect the calculator may not always give you the correct dates for other non 0 examples too. Thought you would like to look into this.
