Here is anicerarecirca 1750 in dateinfantry canteen flaskin good originalcondition. Thetwoiron beltshave a dark smoothsurfacepatina from genuine agewhich can be seen in the photos. Thewood surface has a nice dark color and smooth patina from age withan engraved initial G.S. The carved wooden spout area shows wear due to age which can be seen in the photos. Similarrare canteens that date to the same period as this onecan be seen inrevolutionary warmuseums. In total measuring9.9 inches atwidest pointand4.9 inches thick.
