#1 of 6~Antique Victorian Era, Embroidered Crazy Quilt Piece ~ Beautifully Displayed in a Vintage Frame with *Glass~

This piece was lovingly saved and framed, from an early 1900\'s Crazy Friendship Quilt, dated 1901 and 1905!
You can see just a few small remnants of embroidered letters, and the original pencil outline of the quilter\'s name, on this antique piece of quilt block, (Mrs. ?).

Tattered and worn, faded and simply as charming as can be, with wonderfully aged embroidery work and a terrific display of fabrics.

Approximate Measurements: Frame 8 1/2\" Octagonal ~ Quilt Piece (inside measurement) 6 3/4\" Octagonal ~

A simply fantastic piece of history! Antique Crazy Quilts are such fun! No two quilts, nor quilt blocks, are ever the same and this one, being from a \"Crazy Friendship\" Quilt, makes it all the more special!

The pieces are tattered, yet so fabulous! The embroidery work is lovely and the colors, so charming.

The frame is vintage and has not been painted. I tend to prefer to use \"old\" with \"old\".

This lovely piece is ready to hang, yet is a nice size to display on a mantel or shelf.

This is a wonderful, wonderful piece to have hanging in your home! It is old and not perfect, just perfectly lovely! You will be very happy with this fantastically, charming piece of quilt history!

*Normally, I do not like to use glass, but due to the fragility and age of this piece, I felt that it would be best protected behind glass. There is an opening in the back of this frame, to allow the quilt piece to \"breathe\".
