This is a very fine set of minton china plates....12+ 1 Minton cabinet plates which are hand painted by artist J. Colclough. Pattern # PA-1657-H. Dates circa 1900. The plates are signed by the artist. The plates have a wide border in maroon with hand gilded floral detail. The centre of the plates have a hand painted floral decoration. The detail and quality of the painting is superb indeed and very fine. Fully backstamped to base with Minton impressed. Condition is excellent. No damage. Measures some 10 1/2\" across. This is a superb and highly collectable Minton cabinet plate which is signed and exquisitely hand painted by one of the finest artist J. Colclough.
