Here’s Walt Kelly’s original artwork for Pogo, published March 8, 1968 and depicting Eugene McCarthy as a Don Quixote-like figure along with P.T. Bridgeport and Pogo. This strip was also published in the very rare “Cartoons For McCarthy” booklet, which I’m also offering for sale this week. This artwork was donated to the McCarthy campaign as part of a fundraising effort led by Jules Feiffer.
