This is a vintage Dutch 835 silver standard pin or brooch, showing owls and leafy branches. It\'s hallmarked with the 1953+ 835 silver mark and N10. The marks are bitty; my photograph was taken under 30x magnification and they\'re still not clear. The brooch measures about 1 3/8 x 2 1/4 inches. I\'ve cleaned it a bit to get the marks to the point where they were visible, but no further. This looks like some old German pieces, but guess again. The 83.5% silver content was used in central Europe but has been phased out. Condition is excellent. It comes with a hot pink box older than it is, most likely.
