Description

This is a great piece that was salvaged from a Philadelphia, PA Victorian Home.

It is made of oak and is unpainted.

It has its originalfinialat the top.

The shaft has three raised panels on each side.

It is not notches for the step.

It measures 57.25 inches tall by 8 inches square at the base and 6 square at the shaft.

Overall,it isingood condition. There are misc. scratches and dings as it isantique. It could use a good cleaning. There are some light chips here and there. There are some nail holes. There is a chip where the handrail met the post. Please see the pictures carefully.

About Us

My salvage business was born of necessity in 1993 when I started restoring an old Victorian home that had seen better days. I needed doors, staircase parts, fireplace mantles and more, so I contacted the owners of a few local buildings that were scheduled for demolition. I found and purchased all of the things that I needed for my project and lots of extra treasures which I eventually resold. 17 years later this is still my full time job!
