ANTIQUE 15 1/2\" DISC COIN OPERATED POLYPHON MUSIC BOX
Offered for sale is a 15 1/2\" disc, double comb, walnut case, coin operated Polyphon music box. The machine has two coin slots, one on each side and is operated by inserting an old english penny or U.S. quarter. It currently plays the same song 3 times for one coin. It can be adjusted to play 1 or 2 times rather that 3 if desired. It is in good working condition and sounds great ! In it\'s early years this style of Polyphon was often seen in English taverns or pubs on the counters or hanging on the wall. Included is an antique cherry wood stand / storage cabinet and 25 15 1/2\" discs. The removable gallery as shown was custom made and not original to the machine. The Polyphon has the following dimentions: 41\" high (top of gallery), 13 1/2\" deep and 21 1/2\" wide. The cherry stand measures 30 1/2\" high, 23 3/4\" wide and 21\" deep. The two pieces are in very good condition with nice age patina ! There is a key for the front door lock but an adjustment will be necessary for it to lock. The cash box drawer has a lock but no key. There will be local pick-up only on the Polyphon or arrangements made by the buyer for a third party pickup ( Saginaw, Michigan ) We will gladly assist as much as possible with pickup arrangements.
