The sale is for this antique portrait tile with a highly raised design. The antique tile companies had designer that often moved from company to company. Many produced the same designs. Minton Hollins produced an identical tile as part of its Heads of Ancient Tribes series. Notice the DA on the right top and the NE on the left top. It is in good condition and measure 6x6 inches. There are a few abrasions to the glaze in the hair area and a few very very small spots of missing glaze on the bottom edge. Zoom in on the lower left and right to see. (I notice I didn\'t remove some little specks of white paint). The color of the glaze is just beautiful and one of the most desirable colors. I have many antique tiles.
