Oversized Oyster

Very rare only 1,000 pieces made all in 1 day!

Sceptically on one day in the Rolex factory, 1952, management decided to run a one-off production of 1,000 pieces to be completed by the end of the day, named the reference 6024. All 1,000 pieces bear the serial 866xxx.

The main difference from other models of that day were the non screw down super oyster drown and also the oversized oyster case with lifesaver type bezel, the 6024 measuring 36mm without the crown.

Stunning 1952 Rolex 6024 Oyster Precision man\'s stainless steel wristwatch in excellent original condition. Extremely rare and seldom seen reference. The stainless steel case appears to be in unpolished original condition.

Lightly worn and well taken care of, original Swiss only dial with original hands and markers. Rare original non-screw-down Super Oyster crown, excellent original crystal.

Inside, the high quality hand winding movement is in excellent running condition and keeping time although its service history is unknown. Comes on a new, high quality DeBeer leather strap with plain steel buckle.

Case measures 36mm wide with 19mm lugs. Authenticity unconditionally guaranteed.
