You are viewing a fantastic Mixed Media Painting by the well known Native American artist Julian Martinez. Martinez was born and worked in San Ildefonso Pueblo, New Mexico and was widely known as a potter and painter. This wonderful painting is likely in colored pencil and watercolor on paper and features a Native American Antelope Dancer in traditional dress.Signed. Not dated, but likely around 1920. In great condition, although likely framed later....a few minor scuffs to frame edges...paper backing has broken away and is taped in a few spots. Total measurements are approx 12 1/2\"W x 10 1/2\"T...painted section itself is approx 6\" x 6\". *See ALL photos and ask ALL questions before purchasing.
