Up for sale is an outstanding antique Russian icon, hand painted on a wood panel
Displays Virgin and Jesus in the central medallion with two overlaid four-point stars, all encased on a circular border and then a rectangle
Varying Angelic, Saint and Biblical scenes throughout
Inscription up top, in Cyrillic
Also inscribed on the back, in cursive Cyrillic with black ink
