LovelyGerman Antique SIMON HALBIG bisque Head Heinrich Handwerck bodyroughly 29\" Doll. She is marked on the back of her head as shown. .Her eyes do not sleep any longerhave had some reinforcement as most old dolls have. but still retains her lashes.
Found no chips or cracks in her bisque head. Having pierced ears no earrings,(I just stuck on in to show)Feather painted moldedbrows, painted lashes. red dot accents in nostrils and inner eyes. rosey cheeks, open mouth with top teeth,(one tooth looks like itis lighter, may have lost porcelain?). Sweet dimple chin, One rub to cheek.
Her body is stamped as shown, having repair around the composition at neck opening, and wear from age andplay a few little lighter spots and a little crack here and there nothing major. Wonderful HUMAN HAIR wig that had been curled. No pate.
Her dress fits like it was made for her, a blue little jacket, linnen or silk with satin linning. lace collar and. Her dress has the sheer top portion that matches her over skirt, may find a few small hole in the lace. the under part is the blue linnen or silk material. replaced pantaloons, and socks. Her shoes maybe original. They are black, almost a cardboard slip on with tie, Marked inside made in Germany. the soles, look different eack marked 11 the cording around the openin is lifting up and may have a few small areas lifting from the sole. WHEW I hope I covered everthing, but is you still think I missed something drop me a line..
