ANTIQUE AUTOMATIC ROTARY DIAL-NEW IN BOX made by AUTOMATIC ELECTRIC COMPANY:

This automatic rotary dial 821C was made by Automatic Electric Company, probably in the late 1930\'s or 40\'s. Made in the USA, it is new in the box and has never been used. The box is not in good condition and the top is missing, but the dial is in mint condition and works perfectly. The dial would have been used at the ACL RR between 1929-1971in the Communications Department. (The ACL merged with the Seaboard RR in 1960). This dial originated there and I do not know exactly how old it is. It was used with the Western Electric rotary phones 202 and 302, as well as well as some rotary dial candlestick phones.
