It is a popular part of the culture of the islands of the South Pacific and Polynesia (Samoa, Tonga, Fiji, Hawaii, Vanuatu and others)
  • The bowl is all hand carved from one large piece of native exotic wood, very stable
  • Sits on four legs
  • Characteristic and traditional shape and design
  • Similar bowls are used in \'Ava ceremonies in Samoa
