It can be dated back to Victorian period (1837 - 1901). The Victorian era of British history was the period of Queen Victoria\'s reign. It was a long period of peace and prosperity
This vase can be attributed to the Victorian Aesthetic Movement which started at around 1860\'s. The hand painted floral design shows Japanese influence and the typical for gold and silver colors.
It was displayed most likely in a middle class artistic home
