This incredibly charming antique Neoclassic wallpaper was printed in France during the late part of the 19th century.The design features vases of stylized flowers and leaves and elaborate scroll work, as well as garlands of leaves, flowers and sprigs of berries.
There are also architectural elements, swags and birds.The colors are tones of deep dusty rose, teal, grey/slate, white, black and dusty gold.The wallpaper measures 22 1/2 inches wide x 35 1/2 inches longThis wonderful antique wallpaper would be beautiful framed!Condition:
This is an old wallpaper.
There are several tears, a few of them large, that have been repaired with tape from the back.
There is a water mark and a patched area in the lower right area.
There are marks and surface dirt throughout as well as horizontal and vertical creases.
There is a small piece missing from the lower right edge.
There are also parts that are mounted on heavier paper stock to complete the composition and/or to strengthen/repair it.Please see photos for reference.
