Gorgeous, Meissen work of art that measures 7.5\" inches tall, 6.25\" inches wide and 4.25\" inches deep. The bottom has the glazed crossed blue swords and the number 64. and a decorative C with 474. etched in the porcelain.When you look at this rare piece you can see that this young, romantic couple are so in love. The setting is a pastoral scene with the young lady holding a basket of grapes and feeding some to her beau, while he holds the lamb anda sheath of wheat.The detail is so fine and the colors are beautiful. This piece waspurchased by myGrandmother\'s niece and her husband in Germany duringWorld WarII from a couple that were selling their antiques so they could get food. Those were terrible times but this beautiful piece survived. There are some chips to leaves and one to the big toeon the right foot. The base is circled with a line of gold and the piece is donein beautiful shades of blue, periwinkle, burgundy, green, rose, and white.
