This is a wellsilk portrait paintingof aChinese Man.
Chinese in origin, the man is probably an official of some sort.
paper scroll with attached silk that the painting is on with wood at both ends of scroll.
The top has come off and I think can be repaired if you choose to.
the actual painted area could be reframed and hung that way as well.
signed on the wood stick on the end of scroll that is loose, If you know what is says please let me know.
70\" x 17\"overallscroll size.
40\" x 12.5\" is size of area with the painting on it.
There is some stains on the surrounding paper as shown in photos.
picture is in great condition ready to reframe and enjoy.
