This is a very rare and beautiful antique Russian Icon depicting the Mother of God of Fyodorovskaya. The oval Icon is crafted tempera on mother of pearl. The painting is fine and detailed with a beautiful facial expression expression of the Holy Mother ,holding the little Jesus. The halo is made of silver and hallmarked with the Russian hallmark and the maker´s mark. The Icon is set in a beautiful silver frame with fine engraved Niello adornment. It is also hallmarked with the Russian hallmark and maker´s mark.The Icon is in perfect condition and dated at the 19th century. Length: 3.9\"( 100 mm) Width: 3.1\"( 80 mm)
