Anatoly Dmitrievich Kaigorodov: born about 1878 in St. Petersburg (Russia) - died in 1945 in Mondsee (Austria) Russian landscape painter. Known primarily for his landscapes, genre paintings and portraits in a modern style. Studied from 1896-1900 at the Shtiglits School of Design, 1900-02 ioffer at the Imperial Academy of Arts in St. Petersburg until 1903 at the University. 1904 at the private painting school of Simon Hollósy in Munich, in 1905 at the Académie Colarossi in Paris. Active in St. Petersburg until 1920, in Tallin 1920-39 (Estonia), where he had a studio. 1900 Exhibitions: Imperial Academy of Arts, Society of Russian watercolourists camaraderie of artists, including 1909-20 member of the \"Kuindzhi Society\", from 1937 member of the Austrian Soc of artists.
