A beautiful set of 6 antique berry bowls mostly likely Nippon before they became Noritake. These bowls have a decoration of pink, blue, purple and yellow roses with gold deco detailing and green moriage swags. The mark is the rising sun with \"Hand Painted\" over it and \"Nippon\" under it. This dates the china from 1890-1921. My guess would be from the pottery rings on the bottom it is probably late 1800\'s.The bowls are in good condition. They are not crazed or cracked, and there is only one very small chip, please see photos. The paint is largely intact, with only the green moriage swags being worn away.The gold trim on the rim of the bowls does show wear indicative of it\'s age.
