You are offerding on a very rare amusement park child\'s size ride car attributed to the German amusement ride manufacturer, Wilhelm Huss (see badge on hood). Apparently very few of these rides were exported to the US and very few cars survived. The body is wood, carved by master craftsmen to simulate an Austin Healey. Even the wheels and the tread in them is carved wood.
The car is very solid, and I see not evidence of rot or damage to structural integrity. The hub caps are metal. The wheel wells are metal as well. See Pic showing the interior floor below the dash. I suspect the car has been repainted long ago and that the original color was green. There are places where some of the wood is chipped mostly around the head lights(see pics) and there are minor dings and paint loss due to its age and use. The headlight rings have some dents and one of the front amber lenses is broken. There is a hole about the size of a nickel in the rear deck behind the drivers seat. See pic. The car was attached to the amusement ride and there is no functional steering or braking capability. There is wiring beneath the car where I believe a power source from the ride was plugged in to provide headlights and make the horn button function. See bottom of car pic. The car will ship from Portland Oregon and the dimensions are approximately 65 inches long, 27 inches wide, and 21 inches high. I estimate the weight at 100 pounds.
