We are pleased to offer this exceptional antique french style chaise lounge. This chaise is just exquisite and it has definately the best carved rose frame that I have ever had and seen.

The frame is all carved wood!! Not gesso! It is amazingly carved with floral rose baskets, garlands and scrolling acanthus. Absoulutely incredible work and detailing.

It has old yellow silk upholstery in a tufted design.

This is truly a find! Perfectly imperfect with the paint chippiness and romance everyone is always trying to copy. This is the real deal!

All-in-all a delicious confection.

All imperfections are consistant with age.

There is allover attractive chipping to the paint finish, age cracking and separating to the carved wood. Minor and typical joint separations, overall very sturdy and strong. This is common in carved wood of this age. One old repair to one back leg on the interior side which is not seen. All garlands present except for one on the end which, due to location, you do not even realize it\'s loss. Silk Fabric is tattered, ripped and worn ....see photos.

All these imperfections pale when confronted by the rarity, charm and beauty of this .
