Gorgeous rareEsther Wood signed handmade vintage NavajoNativeAmerican Indian silver belt, on consignment, features big turquoise sets on silver plaques united by silver links. Approx. 37 inches end to end. Weight approx. 466 grams. The naturalAmericanturquoise is probably from the Morenci Mine, and has the mellow rich blue color and matrix typical of that mine, thestones matching exquisitely. The largest plaque has a hook on back and serves as the buckle. This plaque measures 3 x 2 1/2inches at its widest points, and the turquoise set is approx. 2 1/2 x 2 inches at its widest points. Signature of the artist on back. The stones are lovely thick turquoise, thickness underlined in the side view photo.Top notch workmanship and great artistry as expected from this famous silversmith. Buckle the piece from the hook to the far end loop, or hook on to one of the loops above and let the rest of length dangle, for even more drama.
