BOULDER TURQUOISE, often called ROYSTON RIBBON TURQUOISE, is found in the Royston District Range in Nevada. This area produces some of the most spectacular and sought after turquoise in the world. Boulder turquoise is identified by the style of rare and distinctive veins, or ribbons, that run through the matrix rock. Boulder turquoise is well known for its beauty and rarity.
This necklace features a 19 x 25 mm polished oval cabochon of Boulder Turquoise with a soft sky blue ribbon. The stone is held in a traditional design setting with delicate cut-work detailing. The pendant is about 7/8\" wide by 1 1/2\" long including the bail, and is suspended on an 18\" sterling silver chain. Hand crafted in .925 sterling silver and signed \"Arkie Nelson\" by the artisan.
