This is a very fine and rare first half of 19th century Brothel subjectof a nude girl oil on canvas hand painting by very well known Dutch listed artist that is signed on top left that reads:Anzer hoffmann[Eduard Ansen Hoffmann\"1820-1904\"].(He has won some prizes in Salon that one was won in \"1842\".The nude girl, the details and workman-ship is one of the finest that can be found in market.The painting subject is :Brothel and it shows the Madam is getting the nude girl ready for a high class and well dressed gentleman client waiting by the door.The piece is in excellent condition for its age with gorgeous details.The wood original gilt frame is nicely done and it measures about:57\" by 43.75\" and the canvas measures:49\" by 36\".This piece has been obtained by an fine estate in London England recently.There is a brass tag on the back that reads:GEORG MORCH-Kunsthandel.Rommer-Pilestredet 7-Tel.33 50 19.This painting has been recanvased over its age.
