This Vintage Piece of Hair was cut Aug. 26, 1964 by John Lennon following a concert by the Beatles in Denver, Colorado.
HISTORY OF ITEM:The lock of Lennon\'s hair was acquired with the help of the manager of the Red Rock Amphitheater in Denver on August 26, 1964 when the Beatles were there on their historic U.S. Tour. This piece is mounted on a large displaysheet that measures approximately 13 1/2 x 11 inches and includes a copy of a letter of authenticity witnessed by Notary Public: Kimberly B. Blackman on 10/6/98 and a supporting affidavit relating to the certification of this marvelous piece of John Lennon\'s hair from Louis Mushro: Noted hair collector
The Gold Locket, which contains the piece of hair measures:
Approx 1 3/8 inches x 1 3/4 inches!Hair is approximately 1/8th an inch in length.Also included is the original COA from Louis Mushro: dated 6/23/05 which is when I purchased it from Mr. Mushro directly.
