Amazing!Beautiful Art Deco 14 White Gold Filigree .25ct Diamond Drop Lavalier Necklace with Curb Chain NecklaceGreat Gatsby Era Elegance!If you love antique Art Deco / Edwardian filigree, then this beautiful lavalier necklace is for you! These are incredibly hard to find, especially with such fine hand carving of the filigree. This necklace has a stationary plaque medallion,in the shape of a drop that comes to a point. Completely done in the most amazing filigree work, with a super sparkly quarter carat diamond set in the center. The necklace is in amazing condition. The old cut diamond, most likely an old European or mine cut diamond, is bezel set in an elegant round diamond setting. It is clean, white, fiery and so so sparkly, and weighs approx. .25ct with a VS clarity!This piece is in amazing condition, no damage. The chain is an open curb link with a width of approx. 1 mm and measures just about 16 inches long. It features a c-clasp that is marked 14k. The entire piece also has been tested as solid 14kt white gold. The center filigree medallion measures approx. 9mm by 18mm and is affixed to the chain via two rings. This is such an elegant classic piece and would go amazing with your antique white gold or platinum filigree bracelet, watch or engagement ring. It would compliment filigree pieces that have sapphires, emeralds or ruby stones as well! These pieces are rare and hard to come by, don\'t let this one get away!The necklace has the most amazing engraving - wheat, flowers, milgrain, geometric patterning with open sides to let all the light through to the sparkly diamond and sapphires. All completely crafted, very comfortable to wear and silky. Heavily engraved with wheat patterning, swirls and milgrain patterning and there is open filigree work with swirls and engraving that is completely hand carved. The engraving is finely done - all by hand in an Egyptian Revival motif. This is an incredible piece in incredible condition, there is minimal wear, no damage and it has been checked over by our jeweler and ready to be worn!The filigree is in incredible condition and completely crafted of 14kt white gold. The velvet fitted box shown in the photos is not included in this listing - we will include a gift box for you. Has its original patina, has not been cleaned - the white gold has a look and feel of platinum. Weighs 1.26 grams of solid white gold - not scrap! This Edwardian / Art Deco Filigree piece is an authentic original antique necklace, checked over by our jeweler as well as a GIA (Gemological Institute of America) Certified Gemologist who has a specialty in diamonds and engagement rings.
