There is always a risk when purchasing hatching eggs as shipping conditions and incubation can affect the ability of the chick to develop and hatch. The Lacing on these birds are so amazingly beautiful they will stop you in your tracks and once you experience their personalities you will be hooked on this breed forever. They are so mild mannered that when I open their pen they practically trample me with excitement. Presently we have 3 Blue Laced Red Wyandotte Pens. In all our pens there are presently 1 rooster over 4 girls. The girls are all ( Young, Healthy, and Fertile and all are Docile. ) This breed starts laying around 5 months old. My Roo\'s are very healthy and very active in taking care of their hens. My Large Fowl Blue Laced Red Wyandotte Rooster\'s will typically weigh around 13 lbs. and are very friendly and the hens weigh around 8 lbs. and are also very docile. This is a Duel purpose bird which lay’s a large brown egg.My birds are from the Foley and Foley/Sterling line. This mixture guarantees GREAT genetic diversity and I am getting Beautiful birds from my flock. My birds are around 7 Months to 18 Months old and they are shelling out eggs every day. I collect eggs 3 x a day for 3 days to ensure you the freshest fertile eggs available. They are then stored in a egg turner in a climate controlled Environment.The Blue gene in Blue Laced Red Wyandotte does not breed true. There are 3 colors of Blue Laced Red Wyandotte: Blue, Black & Splash or BBS.
All three color varieties are beautiful so I typically breed for all three colors. Please note that it is possible that the chicks you hatch out may all be Blue Laced, Black Laced or Splash Laced, but most likely a nice assortment of all three colors.
Payment at sales end is a must in order to get your eggs in the mail the following morning. The eggs you offer on will be the eggs you receive. We like to ship fresh eggs so you have the best hatch rate possible.When your eggs arrive, please unpack them and allow them to set in the carton, large end up, at room temperature for about 8 hours, before you put them in the incubator. This will give them time to reach room temperature and let the air bubbles settle out. This will increase your hatch rate considerably.
