THESE TWO BEAUTIFUL BRONZE SCULPTURES WERE COMMISSIONED BY THE Franklin Mint in 1974. They are a solid hot casting by Famed American Artist and Sculptor Charles Parks. HE WAS HIGHLY REGARDED AS OUR NATION\'S FINEST SCULPTOR OF CHILDREN AS DEPICTED IN HIS WORK. \"BOY WITH DOG\" MEASURES 9 1/2\" TALL AND 7\"WIDE. \"GIRL WITH CAT\" MEASURES 9\" TALL AND 7\"WIDE. EACH WEIGH APPROXIMATELY 17 POUNDS EACH. BOTH ARE SIGNED AND DATED BY THE ARTIST CHARLES PARKS. THEY BOTH HAVE A BRONZE DISK ON THE UNDERSIDE OF THE BASE WITH ALL THE HALLMARKS. A SMALL CHILDREN\'S PIECE PRICED ON HIS WEB SITE RECENTLY WENT FOR $4,200.00. I HAVE PAPERWORK FROM FRANKLIN MINT FOR EACH BRONZE SCULPTURE.
