A one of a kind from mid to late 1800\'s European Crucifix Font Cross , Champleve enamel and bronze, marble and ivory. This piece isphenomenal . It measures 14\"+ from top to bottom and 9\" + wide. It weighs over 7.5 lbs. It is all hand made with utmost care and detail in theworkmanship. Take a look at the pictures closely to see the fine hand detail work involved on this piece.This was bought from a friend, who had bought it in 1977 from a European antique dealer in California. He was not sure of the artist or the insignia , but he was certain that it was in fact an antique piece from the 1800\'s, since the dealer he purchased it from happened to be one of his family members and a direct importer of French Antiques . This is an authentic piece and not a copy. Condition is superb for age. Part of the ivory on Jesus\'s figure looks to be cracked and chipped, but still in excellent condition for age. It seems to me that there is an insignia besides the INRI letters on the ivory piece above that has the letters S and H right above Jesus\'s head and I am not sure what they stand for.The camera setting is way off on the date . These pictures were taken in 2012. I have priced this item according to what I was told that it would be worth. I will do my best to answer any of your questions, as accurately as possible.
