This is an original panelof Damien Hirst's rare 2004 wallcovering created forthe “In-A-Gadda-Da-Vida” exhibitionat the Tate Britain. The panel depicts a range of butterflies in a vibrant kaleidoscopic formation.

Only 500 rolls of this paper were made.Many of the rolls were used in the 'In a gadda da vida' and subsequent exhibitions (see picture 3) andtherefore destroyed (pasted onto the walls of the galleries).A number of the surviving rolls are also believed to have perished in theMomart warehouse fire. Original panels are thereforeincreasingly rare.

This large artwork comprises one full repeat of the pattern and looks stunning framed (see picture 1). The piece for sale is sold unframed and is inmint condition.
