A beautiful art deco original frame with anoriginal hand-colored print by and signed by David Davidson. A peer of Wallace Nutting, Davidson is famous for his landscapes. This one is entitled \"The Tryst.\"

It features lovely birch trees on the edge of a lake. It appears to be an autumn scene, as the leaves have started to fall off the tree. Quite a quiet, subtle and serene piece.

It has its original vintage frame and original mat with handwritten \"The Tryst\" and signature. It is in very good condition and I see only a couple of very minor foxing marks on the mat only. This is consistent with its age and original mat and frame.

The print alone is approximately 3\" x 4 1/2\". The entire frame is7 1/2\" x 9 1/2\".
