Exquisite truevintage steel cut beaded evening purse.
This beauty is in nice overall condition with the exception of some repair needed to top back area where the beading isseparated from the frame and possibly some beads are missing. About half of one of the bottom loops is missing beads and the loop is loose from the bottom of thepurse. A couple of loops may be missing from the bottom on each end. There is a small tear by the top left corner of the inside pocket and some minor frayed and tiny rips on the inside material which appears to be satin. (Please see all images)
Needs some TLC
On the side of the inside metal frame is etched B16 M162 and also on the inside frame by the latch is marked - Pat. Nov. 24, 1925.
Measures 6\" wide x 8\" high / 1\" loops / 6\" chainstrap
The front and back are adorned with multi color micro steel cut beads. Main color is gold and flowers along the side are soft pink, blue andgreen tones. The pattern is the same on both sides.
There is an elegant gold toned metal frame that is enhance by a 6\" double loop chain handle
This purse opens with a small round gold tone metal button
There is a small round gold decoration on front under top of front frame.
This will be a wonderful addition to any Vintagepurse collection -
Color is faded a bit due to age but doesn\'t take away from her beauty
