Up for sale is a very unique item. It\'s an old workbench, probably a carpenter\'s work bench, and it dated1896!!These old ones are hard to come by like this but this one\'s a survivor! It has two vises with wood threads. We did not test the vises but they both move. On the front of one of the vises, it\'s scribed \"1896\" with some other writing that we can\'t distinguish, it looks like \"M 1896 M\". There\'s a wooden drawer that\'s dovetail mortised as you can see in the pictures. It has a cool wrought iron loop handle. The top is separate from the base but could be screwed or bolted to it. The top is heavy! The base is sturdy but since it\'s wood, and it\'s old, it does jostle and creak a little bit if you lean on it but it is still sturdy. The entire workbench has been well used and thus you get the benefits of this amazing look. It has nicks, dings, scrapes, cuts and a wonderful patina. Simply amazing!!
Note that the pictures have some shadows on them and that the workbench is the color of the wood in the sunlight part of the pictures.

We ship a lot of things but this one\'s a bit too much to take on. We will work with you for you to have a carrier pick it up, pack it, and ship it to you or you can come by and get a local pick up on it also. We can also recommend a couple of shippers:

The bench worktop measures 77\" L x 27\" W x 33\" H at the left and 32\" H at the right. This could be leveled with a shim. It measures 87\" L x 41\" W (with the vises).
