If you are close to the minimum or maximum of either end of this range, please give your purchase serious consideration as to whether or not it will fit you.I did measure the vest I own and came up with the following information:It\'s difficult to make an accurate measurement of an item that contains a great deal of adjustment, however, when I lay the vest flat and measure across the back of the vest (lowest mesh area - probably waist, not arm pit area) from side seam to side seam, it measures21\" across.The front of the vest, when the front strap is adjusted as large as it will go, measures26\" across.
