Here is a HUGE heavy vintage carved wood picture frame from the 1950s. It measures 34 1/4x 39 3/4 in. in total size and the back insert ( fit) size is 29 x 34 1/4 in. The frame has carved molding with two faux Birdseyemaple areas of molding. The outermost and graduated raised molding is a dark brown. The frame is in good as is vintage condition withminor wear to the finish and the edges. It is heavy and solid still. This usedtohouse a 1950s oil portrait,so we can date it to that time period.It wouldbe suitablefor a portrait,landscape, or to be made into a giant mirror.Perfect for Mid-century,Modernist,Traditional,and 1950-60s decors.Ship cost will reflect how very large this frame is and how far it has totravel,please be aware of that and know ship costs will not be reduced from what is estimated in shipcalculator.
