I would like to offer for sale a Huge Victorian Eastlake Ebony & Gold Pier Mirror circa 1880\'s. This 9\' 10\" mirror makes a fantastic statement with its black ebony and incised carvings outlined in gold. We believe it to have its original brass hardware. The brown marble on the shelf is in excellent condition with no chips, cracks or stains. Under the marble there is one drawer for storage. The other measurements are 40 1/2 inches wide, 14 1/2 inches. The mirror itself is 89 inches tall and 31 inches wide, it is in very nice condition. The marble is 19 inches from the floor. This mirror weighs approximately 250 lbs. This is a fine example of the Eastlake period, the black ebony looks great only showing minimal loss due to age. The gold also shows off great. This is an awesome mirror and would be stunning in an entry hall, dinning room or between two large windows.
