From the \"The Playground\" collection of the \"Little People\" series, it is number 434 of the 950-piece edition. It measures 6”x 6”. The originalissue price of “Hangin\' Around” was $400. It is currently being sold for $450 to $650. This piece was inspired by memories of Mark\'s own early years and those of his six children. This collection of sculptures was to be a celebration of the exuberance and spontaneity of childhood! In addition to the Certificate of Authenticityand Registration Card, I will be enclosing a Presentation Pagethat can either be shown on display with your piece, or included with the otherdocumentation and paperwork that will accompany your new sculpture. This is afull-color image of \"Hangin\' Around\" that displays all theidentifying information relating to it. I will also include an insert that gives a briefbiographical introduction to the sculptor, and lists some well known privateand corporate collectors of Mark Hopkins\' work. This piece is from a large private estate collection - it belonged to my parents. I have kept some oftheir sculptures of course, but I\'m afraid I simply don\'t have nearly a bigenough house to store all of them or properly display them. It originally comesfrom and has since been safely stored in a smoke-free and pet-free home. ThoughI know they were never able to actually display it themselves, I havepersonally inspected the piece thoroughly to ensure that it is in brand new andpristine condition.
