He has alovely creamy bisque socket head, with painted upper and lower curly lashes, bright and shiny chocolate brown sleep eyes in excellent working condition, feathered dark brown brows, lovely molded nose and mouth, two upper teeth, open mouth with FABULOUS WORKING TREMBLE TONGUE.This is a very rare feature, that almost always has broken over the years. Additionally, he retains his wonderfully full original hand tied black human hair wig! The fabulous original finish baby body has almost NO wear and is in truly wonderful shape.
He is dressed in a super sweet boy\'s costume with blue and grey gingham design on white to the top and pant cuffs with red trim and mother of pearl buttons. Blue pants and matching red hat with a grey band that picks up on the grey of the gingham. Complete with period appropriate blue socks and black shoes.

CONDITION:He does have are-glueto the back of the head where a chunk was broken out- please see the images, we canstabilizethis damage with plaster if the winning buyer would like before shipment. You will also note from the photographs that he has a few typical wig pullswhich is very typical for these darker colored dolls. Other than this his bisque socket head is in fantastic condition, withbeautiful original cold painted lips and eye dots (one very tiny re-touch to upper lip). Sleep eyes are in excellent working order. Composition body is in great shape, with its ALL ORIGINAL finish which we ALMOST NEVER find on black dolls! Perhaps a one of a kind, or perhaps part of a very limited run, this beautiful boy will bring tons of joy, diversity, and value into your collection for years to come.
