Up for sale is an interesting piece found in Sampson county N Carolina. Some collectors will balk at this being a Clovis because of the poo material but when that\'s all you got, you use it! Judge for yourself but this is a fluted point made of some kind of quartzite material. I have been collecting artifacts for over 30 years and I also deal in modern reproduction so with that said, Please be assured that all my authentic artifacts have been inspected under magnification for any modern alterations and I am familiar with flint styles/material and geography of known types. I am not an authenticator (thank goodness) but I feel confident that when I list something as authentic that it is old.
