Hello and welcome to our sale! Today we are pleased to offer this Superb Antique Meiji Japanese Kyoto Satsuma Small Sake Wine/ Tea Pot. It measures approx. 2 1/4 inches tall not including the handle, is approx. 4 inches wide and weighs approx. 7 ounces. It is decorated with figural panels accented with an intricate geometric design. It is signed as seen on the bottom and has the Shimazu Clan and Satsuma markings. The cane handle is all original and is in excellent condition. The only issue is a small chip on the lid which can be seen in the pics otherwise the overall condition is excellent. It only holds about a 3/4 of acup of liquid. It has crazing from age, is dusty and will need to be wiped clean.
