This is A Stunning and very fine quality Brooch Signed on back :Taxco Sterling
Impressive design with leaves and hand carved purple amethyst flower .
Heavy Weight: 32.7 grams total with a closed flat back.
Old Security barrel closure .Very good vintage Condition besides normal wear on back with light surface scratches , amethyst have some spots of surface abrasion and small flea bite chips visible only with 10 X magnifier . the pin is a bit bent and seems a bit short in length , may have been changed at one time . However it is still doing the job .
Dimensions : 7.3 cm long x 6.5 cm wide at widest point or 2 and 7/8 inches long x 2 and 5/8 inches wide at widest .
