Condition Description:

VERY RARE receiver with Functional AM/FM tuner and 8-track player. Turntable controls are \"Frozen\" and not functioning because it needs to be restored & lubricated properly. Overall physical condition is good. Most notable observations are what appears to be a BB shot to the dial glass and another just above & below. Smoked plastic dust cover has some light scratches/cracks too. There is some fading of the face plate stenciling too. See the photos.

My collection of vintage audio gear began nearly 10 years ago. I have sold most of my collection on over the past few years, but still have a lot to sell. All of my items are thoroughly cleaned inside and out. I will polish the exterior in most cases - depending on the material and condition of stenciling. I completely deoxidize each of the potentiometers, slides, switches/contacts, and rear panel connections with products specifically created to restore vintage audio components. I am not a professional technician, but an audio enthusiast/hobbyist. I will make minor repairs/adjustments and replace lamps and parts as necessary. Technical repairs are to be performed by a qualified technician. Each of my components are tested to confirm all functions are working properly. Any functional issues I am unable to correct with adjustment will be completely discussed in the \"Functions\" section, below.

FUNCTIONS:

This item is completely tested, and I deoxidized each of the potentiometers and switches/contacts with various products specifically created to restore vintage audio components. Dial and Stereo lamps are functioning well. No hums or buzz. The tuner works great, but the turntable won\'t turn on its own as it must be serviced. Cartridge works, but stylus needs to be replaced. Finally, the 8-Track tape player has never \"eaten\" any of my tapes. It plays well, but expect some audible static that begins to goes away after 30 minutes or so. Re-orientating the tape will eliminate static too.
