STORY: In this gentle story, people, animals, sights, and sounds are described on every page and readers are invited to guess who or what each one is before turning the page. EACH PAGE FEATURES A CLASSIC ILLUSTRATION BY ELOISE WILKIN, in full color or black and white.
GOOD COLLECTIBLE CONDITION: Paper over hardboard cover has a light mark where an ink mark was rubbed out. (See photo) THIS IS THE BOOK\'S ONLY MAJOR FLAW.
Some light rubbing of color at edges and slight bumping of corners. Light creases on cover are visible only in light, and don\'t go through to the back. No significant fading. THIS BOOK FEATURES THE OLD NON-GILT LITTLE GOLDEN BOOK SPINE, which was in use until the early 1950s. It has a small amount of chipping at spine top and bottom and at ditch top and bottom.
INSIDE PAGES: Title page and first few pages show small (about 1/8\") chips at the ditch, top and bottom, but these are not very noticeable. OTHERWISE, THE PAGES ARE IN EXCELLENT CONDITION, CLEAN AND BRIGHT, with little age darkening. NO MARKS, CREASES OR OTHER TEARS, minimal to no curling to corners. BINDING IS TIGHT, and most pages lift up from the spine when book is opened.
THIS BOOK HAS BEEN LIGHTLY READ AND IS IN GOOD COLLECTIBLE CONDITION.
