Large 18th c Double Telescope Graphometer by Meurand, Paris, the telescopes 44 cm (17.25″) a fully divided and decoratively engraved half circle, 26.5 cm (10.5″), with opposed vernier with clamp and tangent screw. The engraved and silvered-face compass has a magnetic needle, length 75mm (3″). A needle arrestor-bar activating screw is lacking. The lower motion includes two ivory handled lock and a slow motion action by endless screw and pinion.
