A rare french 1925-1930 art deco chandelier in nickel plated solid brass or bronze by Maynadier.The Paris France based company of Pierre Maynadier designed and produced lamps in art déco style. He mainly usedglasses by Muller freres and Schneider for his creations in bronze and sometimes wrought iron. The shadesthat are signed P.Maynadierwere produced exclusively for Maynadier by Muller Freres in Luneville. The nice and well made Original Maynadier fixture holds a thick shade out of moulded pressed glass. Itis signedP.Maynadieron the rim. The chandelier has a height of69 cm (27-1/8\") and a diameter of 35 cm (13-3/4\"). I have renickeled the mounting. And it comes newly wired. The bowl is in good condition. One very small and unimportant chip (see last two pictures) that only shows if you know where to look for it. The chandelier holds anAmerican standard socket. For the UK France or Australia I can place a BC bayonet cap socket B22. I can also place a european E27 one.
