This piece comes from a little antique shop in the outskirts of London.. It took it\'s journey to the states about 10 years ago and has not left..The workmanship is superb and the simplicity of the design ( first appeared in the 1700\'s ) gives of a regal, elegant impression ofa by gone area. Just a great addition to your collection or a great piece to start a collection. I always used this piece setting up a dinner table around the holidays.. Guy\'s the holidays are almost here and what a way to dress your table to impress!

This piece is a goose neck light house pattern tea/coffee pot. Fully hallmarked and in really good condition.. The handle has beautiful aged patina that matches the silver body of the kettle. The hinge is solid andnot loose. The lid closes nicely and in place..I see a few scuffs/dimplesto the body and a small little dimple on the back/side of the lid but nothing serious. It measures almost 8 1/2 inches high by 3 3/4 base wide.. It has a 5 cup capacity. The silver plated tray is included and measures 10 inches wide. It\'s a great presentation when displayed together... Sterling Silver made in England is sought after and highly collectable.

The maker is A BROS LTD ( Adie brother ltd ) in Birmingham England.. You can see the hallmarks on the side of tea pot, on lip of lid and also on the bottom. Side is makers mark with anchor ~ Lion Passat ~ letter C. Bottom hallmarked Sterling Silver Made in England ~ 76891/1 ( Not sure but this may be the 1st piece made of this pattern ) 5C. Lip has lion Passat and letter C. Please refer to pictures that have not been altered in any way, shape or form.
