DESCRIPTION: Offered for your serious consideration is the pictured SMALL VASE from Royal Doulton\'s c. 1938-1958 FAMOUS SHIPS series. The famous ships series (pattern D5957) features various ships depicted in relief on a pastel background and several of the series items are scarce to rare. This small vase depicts the ARK ROYAL and is one of the more difficult items to locate in the pattern. In addition to the Australia registered Doulton backstamp and pattern name/number, the piece has an impressed 8272 on the underside.

Approximate DIMENSIONS: 3-1/4\" high and about 3-3/8\" wide. Net (packing) weight is 5-1/2 ounces.

CONDITION: In very excellent original condition. There are NO chips, nicks, cracks, hairlines, stains, crazed surfaces, or repairs.
